Summer news 26.
I really enjoyed welcoming visitors to my open studio last month, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited, asked questions watched demos, chatted about printmaking and bought art. The beast of the press in my small studio was definitely a talking point! I look forward to demos and chats in my print studio again this November. I’ve added two new prints to my website- Into the Light & Through the Light and have new summer exhibitions to announce whilst lots of new work is happening in my studio.
Through The Light is a recent photolithograph limited edition print from the light series of images of the experience of being in quiet landscapes. Utilising the tonality of the photolithograph process, these prints explore tonality, dissolved boundaries and atmospheric light and evoke mood and introspection. Heading to the framers soon, the first print will be shown in an exhibition this autumn.

ART AWARDS SHORTLIST
HOLT ART PROJECTS
Delighted that I have two prints shortlisted for the Sir John Hurt Art Awards 2026. Wind Whispers II and V are exhibited at St Andrew’s Church in Holt until 1st August. I visited all shortlisted works for the six awards across 3 venues in Glandford and Holt recently and there’s so much to see! FRAMLINGHAM PRINT EXHIBITION
I’m showing four recent prints from my Wandering and Wind Whispers series in a materiality themed printmaking show at The Old Court House in Framlingham Library throughout this summer. I’m showing alongside printmakers Peter Cobb and Kate Rolfe in this selling exhibition featuring woodcut and letterpress prints. Open during library hours in the upstairs gallery.

THE BANK’S SUMMER EXHIBITION
Now in it’s fourth consecutive year The Bank’s Summer Exhibition in Eye showcases the work of East Anglian artists in their largest show of the year. It aims to celebrate the rich diversity of our regions creativity and platform contemporary and expanded practices. This is my fourth time showing at this wonderful gallery. Open Wednesdays to Sundays till 14th August with a great cafe!
