I’ve had a busy and hot summer in the studio preparing for upcoming exhibitions and events this Autumn. I’ve been investigating new surfaces and formats for printmaking, carving into a variety of wooden boards, mixing up ink viscosity and exploring new ways to frame and hang work. I can’t wait to show you- this Autumn looks to be an exciting time!

I really enjoyed welcoming visitors to my open studio last month, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited, asked questions watched demos, chatted about printmaking and bought art. The beast of the press in my small studio was definitely a talking point! I look forward to demos and chats in my print studio again this November. I’ve added two new prints to my website- Into the Light & Through the Light and have new summer exhibitions to announce whilst lots of new work is happening in my studio.

My garden studio has been cleared and tidied ready for the busy year ahead including two spring exhibitions opening soon and exciting news, I’ve been selected for the Jacksons Art Prize extended longlist and have some new prints ready to show.
