Drawn to print and ceramic processes
My creative journey involves discovery, being inventive with materials and working with multiple narratives and meanings, alternating between 2D and 3D processes and personal and universal contexts, everything is connected.
From drawing and making early on in life, I continue to be drawn to working reflectively and intuitively while making. Printmaking and sculpting both require a time sensitivity that suits my way of merging semi-abstract and layered imagery. The surrounding landscape and people around me are significant to my work and this interconnectedness.
I enjoy working in solitude and contemplation in my home print studio and regularly heading out to shared and community creative studios too where I enjoy the bustle and social interaction of being around other artists and creatives.
