Drawn to print

I am drawn to working reflectively and intuitively while making and layering through printmaking and sculptural processes.

Often ideas take shape while walking and being surrounded within nature, big skies and delicate cloud formations, vast landscapes and intricate shadows combine to create emotive landscapes.

Printmaking and sculpting both have a time sensitivity that suits my way of merging semi-abstract imagery and motifs. Birds in flight, cloud and water reflections, sheltering trees and open skies give time for pauses in between the subsequent layers.
